Overview
Old Town Pizza & Tap House opened its doors in 2012 after husband and wife team, Jamie Dougherty and David Smith took over a pizza restaurant that they frequented growing up in Elk Grove. Their goal was to create a casual and inviting spot for the community to come together and enjoy pizza, or simply unwind with a pint from one of the 18 rotating taps.
The approach is simple: To celebrate pizza with dough made fresh daily, tossed by hand, loaded with fresh ingredients and cooked in a brick oven. Other food offerings include salad, hot wings, fries and more. Our goal with beer is to focus on local craft beer, serve it fresh and keep it fun. We have received widespread recognition, including awards for Best Pizza from Elk Grove Online and Best of the Burbs from the Sacramento News and Review.
They also host several events that bring the community together, including regular tap takeovers and beer releases, trivia nights, dart tournaments, veteran events, and community fundraisers.
