Local wineries include Adkins Family Vineyards, Christopher Cellars, Flatland Wine Company, McConnell Estates Winery, and South Slope Wines & Bistro. Notable local breweries include Dust Bowl Brewing Company and Flatland Brewing Company, along with regional breweries LogOff Brewing, Movement Brewing Co., and Mindscape Fermentations. Also featured are handcrafted cocktails from Sheldon Wine Shop, plus a variety of refreshing sangrias as part of the Sangria Showdown competition.

A signature highlight of Uncorked & Uncapped, the 4th Annual Sangria Showdown returns with a friendly competition that adds even more flavor to your evening of tastings. Elk Grove’s wineries, restaurants, bars, and breweries have been invited to craft their most creative sangria recipes—each one ready for guests to sip, savor, and judge.

Explore Elk Grove volunteers will guide guests through a blind tasting experience, serving each entry without revealing the creator behind the pour. After sampling, guests can cast their vote by writing their favorite entry number on a ballot card. Voting closes at 7:00 PM, with the winning sangria crowned live on stage at 7:30 PM. Which local favorite will take home the title this year?

Beyond the tastings, Uncorked & Uncapped delivers a lively, social atmosphere filled with entertainment throughout the venue. Guests can enjoy live music from Roni & the Flight, a Sacramento-based cover band, and hit the dance floor under the night sky.
