Pick the Perfect Pumpkin

Head to these pumpkin patches and turn finding your perfect pumpkin into a day trip filled with hayrides, games, mazes, and decorating stations.

Fog Willow Farms

Plan to spend the day at Fog Willow Farms and participate in all of their fun activities. Hop on the hayride and trek through the pumpkin patch while hunting for a pumpkin. Then head to the petting zoo, adventure course, and bring your little ones for tractor rides. Opening on September 27, the farm grounds offer autumnal fun for all ages.

Keema’s Pumpkin Farm

Wander through the corn maze at Keema’s Pumpkin Farm and see how long it takes to solve. The maze is changed every year. Starting on September 29, visitors will enjoy the tractor rides and pumpkin picking while taking lots of fun photos at the unique photo stations throughout the farm. Keema’s offers a Pumpkin Pass that will give you and your family access to the fun for the season.

Pool of Pumpkins

Jump in the pool and pick a pumpkin from the floating pumpkin patch at Wackford Aquatic Complex on October 21 from 1 to 4 p.m. After finding your pumpkin head to the decorating stations and transform it into a work of art. Try your hand at the carnival games before you leave!

Explore a Fall Festival

Check out the wide variety of fall festivals held in Elk Grove including a Giant Pumpkin Festival, Halloween festivals, and a festival just for your pup to enjoy!

Mid-Autumn Festival

Explore a variety of mouthwatering Asian food and be immersed in fall festivities. Enjoy vibrant entertainment, mooncakes, and kid-friendly activities. Held at the Laguna Town Hall, this event is hosted by the NorCal Vietnamese Chamber of Commerce and will be held on September 23 from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Giant Pumpkin Festival

Prepare to marvel at the larger-than-life pumpkins at the Giant Pumpkin Festival. Held October 7 & 8 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Elk Grove Park, the festival features a giant pumpkin weighing contest, pumpkin regatta, and pumpkin themed contests.

Hallo-Palooza & Trunk-or-Treat

Don't miss this fun filled festival! Explore Elk Grove is hosting Hallo-Palooza on October 27 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on the grounds of the Center at District 56. There will be sweet treats, pet costume contest, lively entertainment, and more.

Follow the Beer & Wine Trail

Those interested in the local wine and craft beer scene can follow the Beer & Wine Trail to sip wine and craft brews at local breweries and wineries.

Oktoberfest

Celebrate Oktoberfest in Elk Grove with lagers and pilsners from craft breweries. Flatland Brewing Company will be hosting an Oktoberfest event on September 23 at 12 p.m. Enjoy exceptional brews, mouthwatering eats, live music, and thrilling games.

Falling for Fall Wine Tasting

For wine lovers, South Slope Wines will be hosting an onsite Falling for Fall tasting event on September 30 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Jazz Festival at the Laguna Town Hall
