Gobble Wobble Run
Before the big Thanksgiving meal, lace up your running shoes and head to the Elk Grove Gobble Wobble Family Fun Run/5k. All registration fees go to Chicks in Crisis, a non-profit that provides pregnancy and parenting family resources. So grab your family and friends, give back to your community, and get moving this Turkey Day. All ages and abilities welcome!

Santa and Sirens Parade / Parade of Lights
Join the Cosumnes Fire Department and onlookers alike as a small convoy of antique and modern emergency vehicles adorned in holiday decorations escort Santa, Mrs. Claus, and friends through the streets of Elk Grove. Firefighters, police officers, and volunteers will hand out candy canes and spread holiday cheer to residents of all ages. Donations of new, unwrapped, toys for the Police/Fire Toy Drive will also be accepted along the route.

Old Fashioned Christmas
Tour the Elk Grove History Museum and Heritage Park for the 18th annual Old Fashioned Christmas event. A true community treasure, folks come together to decorate the museum with lavash detail. Along your tour you’ll find docents who are all volunteers, including EGUSD high school students, dressed up as holiday characters to greet families, help the little ones decorate cookies, lead crafts, and snap pictures with Santa. The outside grounds are also a sight to behold- lit up with twinkling lights and characters, making it a magical winter wonderland for all.
