LESSON CONTENT:
If you struggle with procuring the correct color when painting, look no further! In this workshop, we’ll talk about complimentary, warm/cool colors, and how light affects our perception of colors. There will be a lecture (15%) followed by a demo (15%) and then open discussion & guided self-practice (70%). We will create our own color wheel/chart and then try to create the colors based on a photograph (feel free to bring your own too). This workshop will focus on experimentation and the exploration of colors with oil paint as the medium. Important tips and tricks when using certain colors will also be mentioned. Please come ready with curiosity and any questions you have about colors!
