This year's exciting new theme celebrates the Vietnamese refugees who settled in New Orleans and the Gulf Coast, where they created a distinctive Asian-Cajun fusion culture. The festival will feature:
A groundbreaking parade fusing Lunar New Year traditions with Mardi Gras elements. We're also planning a Second Line Parade on Sunday and attempt to hold a world record for longest Second Line Parade!
With the festival being on Valentine's Day weekend, we're planning to have some romantic attractions. 😉
Two stages to accommodate two cultures worth of entertainment!
Traditional lion dancers and captivating live performances
Bounce houses and activities for kids
And so much more!
